Mediterranean cuisine on the Old Danube

Vienna’s most charming garden restaurant is located directly on the idyllic banks of the Old Danube. This is where the culinary bond between Austria, Spain and Italy is cultivated.
In addition to our local dishes, freshly imported Italian delicacies such as seasonal cima di rapa (sprouting broccoli), puntarelle (winter chicory) or the Italian fresh burratina cheese, alongside selected Spanish specialties such as prawns, small green Padrón capsicums or Iberian ham (matured for 36 months), guarantee a Mediterranean flair. The Chef’s specials also add to the culinary diversity and holiday atmosphere: fresh summer salads, medley of solo asparagus or sgroppino al limone – a refreshing lemon sorbet with vodka and prosecco.
